Psychology and Human Resource Management

People are different and show different behaviors that are triggered by values, beliefs, and attitudes they have. Psychology is the study of peoples behavior and mental processes. It is about developing an understanding of behaviors that are acceptable and those which are unacceptable, it is about elucidating why people show a certain behavior, and what triggers those actions, understanding the stimulus that reinforces and cuts down a particular behavior. Once we understand and are able to explain the behavior we can be in a better position to predict human behaviors.

Those in position have the utmost responsibility to perform and make others perform, it is to be understood that with power comes responsibility, and those who make the best use of responsibility and understand the fact that it is due on them to make best possible use of this authority will have potent chances of success. Now it is well understood that Managers have the responsibility to get the best out of the people who work under them, understand their talents, skillset, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours and then make then work in a way that is fruitful to the business.

We all want to live in a better world, work in a better environment, live in a calm home,  Places where everyone respects each other, where truth prevails, a home where everybody shows patience towards each other, one where honesty is the best policy, where no body engulfs others rights, a place where equality of rights and opportunities is not just valued but honored and practiced, the theory of life is dictated by aforementioned practices, and when asked each one of us in the world agrees and would like to live with these norms, but the question is why do we do not have these practices in this world?
